“Arkady!” Two sharp raps on the door followed Sana’s voice. “It’s not like you to be late, is everything alright in there?”
Violet groaned awake, petulantly keeping her eyes shut. Why was Sana knocking on Violet’s door for Arkady? Felt like a mistake the captain of the ship (or the maker of the ship) shouldn’t be making.
“Uh, I’ll be out soon! Give me ten minutes!” Arkady yelled from inside the room. What? She’d had weirder dreams about the Rumor crew, but she was far too sleepy for this to be a dream.
