The War On Normal People by Andrew Yang

The last of the presidential candidate books I wanted to read this year. Most surprising to me was there really was only one chapter on UBI itself - the rest was devoted to various interrogations and delineations of problems, and other solutions. I liked it overall. (I was also fascinated that it's his book that went wait, beyond the big financial scammers, why does healthcare itself and college itself cost so much now? Could we change that part too?)

Finally, this quote amused me:

This sense of unease plagued me, and I became consumed by two fundamental and uncomfortable questions: "What the heck is happening to the United States?" and "Why am I becoming such a tool?"
