A long time. Think I preferred the first part over the second. The second part got pretty meta. The cons and mockeries of it also felt more cruel, though I remained sorrier for Sancho than I did Don Quixote. Favorite bits were Marcela's speech on the obligations of being adored and Don Quixote's creepy vision in the caves.
Just Mercy: A Story of Justice And Redemption by Bryan Stevenson
Stevenson is a lawyer who founded a Montgomery nonprofit law office in 1989 that initially focused on death row cases, later fighting against life sentences for children and more. This book is a description and indictment of how those systems work, entrapping the innocent and subjecting all prisoners to cruelties that don't solve anything.
