I guess we'll just forget April ever happened, shhh.
Reading-wise I'm still less than halfway through a book on Korean history - it is slow-going because I knew shit-all going in, so I'm just drowning in info right now. The only downside for history ebooks is not being able to conveniently flip to maps, imo.
Other Media
I saw Hadestown and My Fair Lady while my sister was in town, and both were really fun productions! Hadestown was visually gripping - there's an moment near the end of the first act where the lighting and the singing come together brilliantly. Fun fact: I know nothing about Greek myths, so I had no idea that the Eurydice/Orpheus plotline ended Like That.
The lead in My Fair Lady was so delightful and made Eliza the best part of the musical. I liked that, as far as I could tell, this production left it ambiguous as to whether Eliza returns to Higgins for good or not, because by the end of it I really didn't want her to.
Writing
Taking Advantage of Someone With Amnesia - Brian has no idea how he ended up on a spaceship.
Voltron AU - Arkady has some big shoes to fill.
Hunger Games AU - Sana and Arkady talk while watching this year's Games.
Your OTP But Dark - Violet and Arkady, coping.
