Thanks for reading my letter! I have a little about what I like for each requested group below, along with some prompts, but if you already have something in mind feel free to go for it. My tumblr is also jaggedwolf.
For all my requested fandoms, I really am interested in a wide range of genres (from small moments between characters to casefic to sitcom-y shenanigans, etc.) and a wide range of moods (from angst to romance to hurt/comfort, etc.) Don't take a lack of a relevant prompt for that fandom as a lack of interest.
General likes: Canonverse fic, non-mundane AUs, hurt/comfort, whump, loyalty kink, characters risking themselves for each other, characters hiding their physical/emotional hurts, seemingly unrequited pining, quiet moments, casual touches, found family, friends to lovers, fake/pretend relationships, banter, characters forced to make unfair tradeoffs, pretending to be enemies
Assume that for any of my liked ships/friendships, I am completely here for hurt/comfort of the sort where one person is hurt to the point of being a little insensible and trying to push past it, and the other(s) find them and help them.
DNWs: Requested characters dying, noncon, underage sex (<16), infidelity, requested ships breaking up, gore, unhappy endings (hopeful open endings in a dark context are fine)
I have some short prompts under the cut, with links to longer sections from previous letters if that interests you.
Beau/Jester
Previous Letters: Fandom 5k
They make such a good team, and are so constantly trying to do good by each other. Beau's canonical crush has been such a delight, and I love the way care with which she talks to Jester now while still disagreeing - about the Gentlemen, about Molly, about messaging her dad. Jester's not the best at boundaries, but definitely wants to help Beau as much she can, and she looked so sad when they weren't going to be roommates.
Prompts
- Beau getting very injured in a tough battle, and Jester trying to get to her/heal her, because of her past (self-described) failure to do so in the Cathedral fight
- Traveler con! Does it go well? How does Beau react to all of this god stuff she doesn't care for, as much as she cares for Jester?
- It was a misunderstanding in that episode, but what if at some point Beau does decide it isn't fair to be roommates anymore? How does everyone react/how well does Beau manage to play it off and does Jester see through it? They are both pretty good liars.
Sherlock/Wato
Previous Letters: Yuletide
A fantastic f!Sherlock + f!Watson adaptation. Sherlock's brusque and eager with a morality of her own, and I love everything about how that reacts with Wato, who's so persistent, as vulnerable as she appears.
Prompts
- Wato pulling the trigger in the finale roof scene, non-lethally injuring Sherlock but also getting jarred out of her brainwashing
- Case in a Tokyo gay bar - are they mistaken for a couple? does Sherlock decide they should pretend to be one, for the case of course
- Wato being the one to rescue Sherlock from something, for once
The Strange Case of Starship Iris
Previous Letters: Yuletide, Fandom 5k
Violet/Arkady
I love how Violet's weird sincerity and sarcasm clashes with Arkady's instinctive recoiling from sincerity, and the way that wariness and annoyance on both sides gives way to understanding and fondness over the course of the first season. Violet's braver than Arkady expects, and Arkady softer than Violet expects, and I very much like that about them.
Prompts
- Being creative with dates on the Iris 2
- Pulling off a mission/job together!
- Given how awkward their getting-together conversation was, I'm sure they have many more awkward, fumbly, relationship conversations ahead of them, I'll take any of those.
Arkady & Sana
I adore their friendship - the instinctive trust they have in each other's loyalties and abilities, the history, the freeness with which they tease each other. The elevator convo with them teasing each other about flirting/not-flirting works not because either one of them has a claim to be better at this stuff, but because they really do want the best for each other. I also like the more complicated parts of their friendship, where Arkady would 100% take a bullet for Sana, and Sana has to know that, and that's always there.
Prompts
- Them meeting while on Cresswin - an uprising leader might have some passing conversation with a scrappy teenager contributing any way they can, and it'd probably linger in Arkady's memory long after
- The first time they pulled off a job together, just the two of them in the field. Or just those early days of Arkady being on the ship, and adjusting to that from her IGR guard life.
- A quiet moment over moonshine. Talking about the war, or Cresswin, or their families,or their current/past romantic interests, be they Violet or Campbell or shudder Sana's terrible terrible 24 year old self's taste in Ricky Q.
Arkady/Sana
All of the above feelings, plus I think they should kiss :D (For this, I'd prefer Violet/Arkady had never gotten together at all, no breakups or one-sided interest for them, please.)
- Teenage Arkady on Cresswin having a ridiculous crush on super-inspiring uprising leader Sana
- Getting together via the post-adrenaline rush of a job, and then having to deal with all those awkward feelings afterwards
- All the pining. Arkady-brand "I am the worst and so not her best option" pining, Sana-brand "Responsible Captain That Will Not Accidentally Pressure My First Mate" pining.
Violet/Arkady & Sana
There are a few scenes with the three of them, and I enjoy the potential dynamics at play here - that Sana hears both sides of Violet and Arkady's comm call in The Carmen Gambit, that Violet suspects she'd get a more truthful answer about Arkady's continued presence on the ship from Sana.
I like that for Violet, Arkady and Sana's friendship is such an obvious fact that Arkady talking about Cresswin makes her say "I should've known you two went that far back", and that Sana making her a crew jacket clearly meant something to Violet. Sana being the obvious quickest yes to Violet's Plan B was cool too. I also ship Violet/Arkady/Sana, so if you want to write that, go right ahead.
Prompts
- Violet is startlingly perceptive at times, and Sana's very good at deflecting from her personal feelings to focus on the good of the crew. I'd love to see that clash, with Violet's sort of interrogatory nature being directed at the captain. Arkady having either opinion on whether this is a line of questioning to pursue is also good.
- Pulling off a job, or getting captured/trapped somewhere, etc. + The possibility that Sana and Violet are a little more rational in distributing risks among themselves than Arkady "all the risks on me please" Patel
- One of Violet or Arkady (or both!) getting relationship advice from Sana. From Violet's perspective, Sana knows Arkady best. From Arkady's perspective, Sana's kinda better at this whole regular human feelings thing, maybe.
